BETHLEHEM, July 17, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Friday night closed the Al-Matina area in the village of Husan, west of Bethlehem, according to a local official.
Head of the Husan Village Council Rami Hamamreh told WAFA that Israeli forces raided the village and deployed in the Al-Matina area at its eastern entrance along the main road, closing the area to Palestinian traffic.
Israeli forces also forced shop owners in the Al-Matina area to close their businesses while firing sound bombs.
