HEBRON, Tuesday, May 16, 2023 (WAFA) – Israeli army raids of two university campuses in the Hebron area in the south of the West Bank resulted in confrontations with students and several injuries, one from a live bullet.
WAFA correspondent said students of the Khadouri Technical University branch at Arroub, north of Hebron, confronted Israeli soldiers at the entrance to their campus.
The soldiers opened live fire and shot tear gas at the students seriously injuring one in the leg while scores of others suffered from inhaling the toxic tear gas.
Earlier, confrontations broke out in the vicinity of Hebron University during which the soldiers also fired tear gas at the students causing many suffocation cases treated at the location.
