JERUSALEM, September 11, 2013 (WAFA) – Around 100 Jewish fanatics headed by Minister of Housing Uri Ariel conducted a provocative tour of al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem on Wednesday.

The tours, which have intensified recently, aim at creating new facts on the ground and at pushing the Israeli government to allow Jews to hold prayers inside the Muslim holy compound as a prelude to building their third temple on the location after destroying al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.

Muslim officials are concerned that a planned mass tour by Jewish fanatics of the compound on Thursday, the eve of the Jewish Yom Kippur holiday, may provoke clashes with Muslim worshippers.
