HEBRON, July 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists released their livestock into Palestinian olive groves and hay bales in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, causing deliberate damage to private agricultural lands, according to local sources.
Activist Osama Makhamreh reported that dozens of colonists unleash their herds on olive-planted lands in the Shaab al-Butum area, deliberately targeting the crops to destroy them.
In a separate incident, another group of colonists released livestock onto hay bales belonging to Palestinian farmer Ibrahim Ali Awad in Khirbet al-Tuba, after previously damaging several of them.
Makhamreh affirmed that colonists, particularly those involved in illegal outpost ranching, carry out daily assaults on Palestinian farmlands and crops. They frequently graze their flocks near Palestinian homes, harass residents, and physically assault them in an effort to forcibly displace them from their lands and expand colony activity in the area.
