RAMALLAH, July 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Groups of Israeli colonists carried out multiple assaults Saturday evening on Palestinian villages north and northeast of Ramallah, according to Palestinian security sources.

In the village of Jiljilya, north of Ramallah, a group of colonists attacked the outskirts of the community and attempted to set fire to a house belonging to a local resident. The arson attempt was thwarted before serious damage occurred.

In a separate incident, colonists attacked the al-Batin area south of the village of Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah. Palestinian residents confronted them and forced them to withdraw. No injuries were reported.

Meanwhile, colonists from an outpost established on Palestinian-owned land east of the village of al-Mughayir, northeast of Ramallah, opened fire toward residents. While no injuries were reported, the gunfire caused panic in the area.
