GAZA, July 5, 2025 (WAFA) – At least 15 Palestinians were killed and dozens injured on Saturday as Israeli forces launched renewed shelling across the Gaza Strip, targeting civilians in Rafah, Khan Younis, and Gaza City, according to medical sources and eyewitnesses.
In Rafah, Israeli forces opened fire near an aid distribution center affiliated with the American company, killing eight people and injuring more than 40 others, as civilians gathered to receive humanitarian assistance.
Moving to the south, in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis, an Israeli airstrike killed four Palestinians, with others wounded.
In eastern Gaza City, rescue teams recovered the bodies of two Palestinians following an Israeli bombardment of the Shuja’iyya neighborhood.
According to medical sources, since dawn Saturday, at least 35 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli airstrikes and shelling across multiple areas of the besieged Gaza Strip.
