NABLUS, March 31, 2011 (WAFA) – A Palestinian Thursday found an explosive remnants in a land in Awarta village, south of Nablus.
According to the police public relations department’s statement, the Nablus police got a warning call from a Palestinian About the existence of a suspicious object in a land in Awarta village, therefore, members of the Explosive Engineering Unit immediately headed to the location.
The object turned out to be a bomb and was successfully defused with no damage reported, police said.
Colonel Omar Al-Bazour, director of the Nablus police warned all Palestinians to stay away from unfamiliar objects and immediately call the police to save their lives and property.
