ISESCO Gives Support to Institutions in Jerusalem

RABAT, April 23, 2010 (WAFA)- The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) provided financial support to several educational and cultural institutions in occupied Al Quds (Jerusalem) to cover the first set of activities scheduled for April 2010, particularly in the areas of special education, vocational education, and training for self-employment.

This financial support is also dedicated to ten (10) institutions in Al Quds to assist their activities for a whole month,, as well as to the Al Quds Ramadan Competition, the Palestinian folklore and handicraft teaching project, the restoration and maintenance of Umar ibn al-Khattab school in Al Quds, the production of documentary films on Al Quds and provision of training in Al Quds traditional musical instruments, the media centre of the Anti-Wall Popular Committee, and Palestine’s Broadcasting Corporation.

Meanwhile, ISESCO provided support to hold the First International Conference on Human and Applied Science at Al Azhar University in Gaza.
