RAMALLAH, May 4, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces on Monday evening conducted multiple raids in the occupied West Bank governorate of Ramallah, according to local sources.
They said that the occupying forces carried out separate raids in the villages of Shuqba, Qibya, Budrus, northwest of Ramallah, as well as in the Ni'lin town, west of Ramallah.
The gun-toting soldiers unleashed barrages of concussion and tear gas bombs, without any casualties.
Meanwhile, a convoy of army vehicles stormed Surda town, north of Ramallah, without leading to any casualties or detention case.
The occupation forces frequently raid Palestinian houses almost daily across the West Bank on the pretext of searching for “wanted” Palestinians, triggering clashes with residents.
These raids are conducted with no need for a search warrant, whenever and wherever the military chooses, in keeping with its sweeping arbitrary powers.
Under Israeli military law, army commanders have full executive, legislative, and judicial authority over 3 million Palestinians living in the West Bank. Palestinians have no say in how this authority is exercised.
