He said that according to the Basic Law of the Palestinian Liberation Organization (PLO), six members were added to the PLO Executive Committee.

The President added that the legal reference of the political process was, and still is, the international resolutions, most important of which is that our borders are those of June 4, 1967, and that the halt of colonization is an international obligation and not a preset condition.

He mentioned that until now, the gap between us and the Israelis has still not been bridged, since Israel has not recognized the borders of 1967, pointing that the content of the Israeli stance is against the two-state solution.

He reiterated the Palestinian National Authority’s welcoming of the Goldstone Report.
