RAMALLAH, April 23, 2026 (WAFA) – President of the State of Palestine, Mahmoud Abbas, received on Thursday the full set of files related to preparations for the eighth conference of the Fatah movement.
This came during a meeting held at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah with members of the preparatory committee for the conference.
After reviewing the ongoing preparations, the President confirmed that the conference will be held as scheduled on May 14, 2026.
He stressed the need for all members of the movement to work together to ensure the success of the conference, describing it as a key pillar in strengthening the movement and the broader Palestinian national movement in facing the challenges confronting the Palestinian people.
