Young girl injured by Israeli fire in northern Gaza

GAZA, April 24, 2026 (WAFA) – A young girl was injured on Friday morning after Israeli occupation forces opened fire on displacement centers in the Beit Lahiya project area, north of the Gaza Strip.

Local sources reported that the girl was struck by live ammunition in the head. Several displaced civilians also sustained minor injuries inside the Khalifa School shelter in the same area amid Israeli artillery shelling and gunfire.

In the same context, Israeli artillery shelled the Al-Tuffah neighborhood, east of Gaza City, as well as areas east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip, while Israeli naval boats opened fire off the coast of Khan Younis.
