NABLUS, April 24, 2026 (WAFA) – Crowds in Nablus on Friday mourned and laid to rest slain Palestinian teenager Yousef Sameh Shtayyeh, who was killed yesterday during an Israeli military incursion into the city.
The funeral procession set off from the Nablus Specialized Hospital toward his nearby hometown of Tell, where prayers were held at the village mosque before he was buried in the local cemetery.
Israeli forces had raided the Rafidia neighborhood in Nablus on Thursday and opened live fire in the Beit Wazan area as they withdrew from the city. The child was critically injured in the shoulder and taken to hospital, where doctors later pronounced him dead from his wounds.
