JENIN, June 16, 2008, (WAFA)-The prisoners in Jelbua and Shatta Israeli prisons appealed on Monday to all humanitarian and international human rights organizations, especially the International Committee of the Red Cross to intervene to put an end to arbitrary practices against them.
In a letter leaked from prison, the prisoners in Jelbua prison - Section 7,said that the prison's administration is pursuing a serious escalation policy, such as reducing the amount of water in prison and depriving of constant cleaning, in addition to penalties and fines on the prisoners if they try to reject management's instructions.
They pointed out that the PLO prisoners were isolated from the rest of the prisoners in an attempt to instilling the spirit of discord and division among the rest of the brothers.
The representative of the prisoners in jail Wael Ajawi appealed to human rights institutions to put an end to these repressive practices that contradict international humanitarian laws.
