Ereikat told reporters that since Annapolis conference, Israel approved tenders for building 138 housing units in comparison of the same period of the last year.
He stressed that continued Israeli aggressions, campaigns arrests and blockade on the West Ban and Gaza Strip would destroy and torpedo the peace process.
'Why ahead of Rice's arrival, Israel had approved construction of more new homes,' Ereikat asked.
Ereikat urged Rice to make the issue her top priority, calling on the Quartet to put an end to the Israeli destructive settlement policy if they want actually to give an opportunity for the peace process.
