President Mubarak: Egypt Tries to Reach Calm in Gaza Strip and Start Serious Negotiations

 

ROME, June 05, 2008, (WAFA)-President Husni Mubarak said that Egypt has been exerting efforts to reach calm in the Gaza Strip to lift the siege imposed on the Gaza Strip and to start serious negotiations supported by all Palestinian factions.

 

President Mubarak told reporters, during his visit to Italy Wednesday, that this issue might take a long time and the Israeli position is unclear, adding that Cairo is waiting an Israeli envoy to transfer the position of the Palestinian factions to the Israel governmnmet.
