RAMALLAH, June 2, 2008, (WAFA)- Prime Minister Salam Fayyad said that the accelerated construction of Israeli settlements largely hinders the current Palestinian –Israeli negotiations.
In an interview, the PM Fayyad said he would keep trying to improve the life of the Palestinian people in the
Fayyad hoped to break what he described as a culture of defeatism among the Palestinians, nurtured by decades of Israeli occupation and he instead to instill a sense of the possible.
'The way we end it (occupation) is by this ... spirit of positive defiance, to build despite the occupation, do what we can,' he told reporters in Ramalla Sunday.
