RAMALLAH, May 30, 2008, (WAFA)-A poll revealed on Friday showed that 73% of respondents trust President Mahmoud Abbas.

The Poll conducted by Near East Company for Consultation (Near East Consulting) and during the period May 22-24, 2008 , including the Gaza Strip, West Bank and Jerusalem showed that 65% of respondents oppose the resignation of President.

The poll showed that 37% support Fateh and 13% support Hamas and 6% support other Palestinian factions, according to the poll last month. This poll showed that Fateh popularity reduces from 40% to 37% and Hamas from 17% to 13%.

The sample included 800 persons whose age group is 18 and above and who have the right to vote. 76% support the strategy of Fateh Movement in return 24% prefer Hamas' strategy.

While 75 % of respondents support signing a final peace agreement with Israel.
