BRUSSEL, April 17, 2008, (WAFA)- The European Campaign against Gaza closure rebuffed Thursday the Israeli refusal to supply Gaza Strip with fuel, settling for the least amount of it just for Gaza Strip only power plant and cooking gas; tightening the closure and keeping Gaza Strip paralyzed.

Head of the European campaign Amin Abu Rashed, in a statement issued from Brussels, said , commenting on the Israeli decision, that 'supplying Gaza Strip with the abovementioned amount and kind of fuel is completely insufficient as it does not settle the civilians' claims. He added that the Israeli decision is only some kind of analgesic against the international campaigns that are currently siding the Gazans. Supplying Gaza Strip with minimum of fuel does not prevent the awaited catastrophe'.

'Resuming such an Israeli policy inflicts more victims among the patients and the humanitarian cases as a catastrophic and destructive dilemma with no good consequences is about to explode', he made it clear.

Abu Rashed, as well, went on warning that hundreds of Palestinian patients await death as being unable to leave Gaza Strip out to get proper medications, besides the Israeli authorities denying the medications' access into Gaza Strip.

'The whole international community is asked to look carefully to what is going on humanitarianly in Gaza Strip where 1.5 millions suffer hell.
