AL-BUREIJ, April 16, 2008, (WAFA)-12 citizens, including children and Reuters cameraman were killed and dozens wounded on Wednesday in the Israeli ongoing attack on al-Bureij refugee camp, central of the Gaza Strip, Director of al-Aqsa Hospital Dr. Ibrahim al-Hour said.
He added that the number of those infected are children and two cases transferred to Shifa Hospital and some killed children are still unidentified due to Israel shelling of a house, adding that there was difficulty in the movement of ambulances because of the lack of fuel.
Eyewitnesses said that four ground-to-ground missiles were fired at the targeted area where a number of them fell on two houses near Nour Al-Huda mosque east of al- Bureij refugee camp.
The victims who arrived at al- Aqsa hospital were torn to pieces and have not been identified yet.
The death toll due to Israeli ongoing assault on the Gaza Strip since dawn up to now mounted to 18 citizens and the wounding of 40 others, some seriously.
