JENIN, April 16, 2008, (WAFA)-Palestinian prisoners in Israeli Megiddo prison to wage a hunger strike tomorrow, Thursday, on the occasion of the Palestinian Prisoners Day and in protest against the repressive practices of the prison administration exercised on them amid harsh detention conditions.
The activist of the prisoners' issues in Jenin, Thaer Abu Bakr said on Wednesday that the prisoners appealed, in a letter leaked from prison, for activating the issue of prisoners in international forums to put pressure on Israel to immediately release all the prisoners unconditionally.
The prisoners decided to launch hunger strike tomorrow to shed light on the ongoing suffering in Prison an ill treatment.
