Abbas Conducts Talks with Olmert Next Monday
RAMALLAH, April 6, 2008, (WAFA) - Dr. Saeb Erikat, head of the Palestinian negotiators said Saturday that President Abbas will conduct talks with Israeli premier Ehud Olmert next Monday to discuss the peace process, stuck between the two sides.
In a press release, Erikat was quoted as saying that Abbas will make it clear to Olmert that so far Israel has not toe the line of its commitments toward the Road Map peace plan, neither has it freeze its settlement policy in the West Bank.
"Abbas will also tackle the situation in Gaza and the possibility of reopening Rafah crossing", he added.
