President Meets King of Jordan in Amman
AMMAN, March 27, 2008 (WAFA)-President Mahmoud Abbas met on Thursday in Amman with King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, King AbdullahII.
During the meeting, the two leaders discussed the developments relative to the forth coming Arab Summit in Damascus and the continued support of Jordan to push the peace process forward.
King of Jordan reiterated Jordan support to the Palestinian National Authority in its negotiating efforts with Israel, specially the final status issues.
His Majesty stressed the necessity to stop all unilateral policies and procedures to impose facts on the ground, particularly expansion of building new settlements.
