IOF Arrests 23 Citizens in WB
NABLUS, February 21, 2008 (WAFA)- Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) conducted on Thursday a wide-scale arrest campaign in the West Bank and arrested 23 citizens, security sources said.
They told WAFA that the arrests were mainly in the Nablus area, where 18 citizens arrested in the town of Beita alone, southern Nablus City.
They added a large number of Israeli troops broke into the city, at dawn, and started searching homes under the pretext of finding Palestinians wanted.
One arrestee was Fatah official Ziyad Hilal.Other arrests were in Tolkarem, Hebron, and Qalqiliya.
