Yemenis Hold Solidarity Festival with Gaza Strip in Jawf
JAWF, February 20, 2008 (WAFA) - Al-Aqsa Association of Yemen held on Wednesday in Jawf province a festival held in solidarity with lifting the siege on the Gaza Strip.
Governor of Jawf Fadhel al-Qawsi delivered a speech in the festival, saying that the Islamic world's weakness was one of the reasons of blockade and food shortage Palestinian people suffer from, confirming that Yemen was one of the first countries that calls for solidarity with Palestine and supports them.
Some speeches and poems have been delivered in the festival showing the Yemeni supporting for people of Gaza Strip.
