Al-Krunz Meets Robert Serry in Ramallah
RAMALLAH, February 14, 2008, (WAFA)- Secretary General of the ministerial council Dr. Sady al-Krunz asserted Thursday that the Fayyad-led government works in light of its responsibilities of providing the Gazans with a better life as the Gaza Strip is an undivided part of the Palestinian homeland.
His remarks came while receiving the UN Special Coordinator for the Middle East Peace Process Robert Serry in Ramallah city of the West Bank .
Al-Krunz briefed Serry about the results of the Quartet meetings held earlier in Berlin and the meetings with the Egyptian officials in Cairo.
Serry said that such said meetings tackled the situation in Gaza Strip and the devastating consequences of the Israeli tight siege and the ways to ease such a closure. They as well discussed the conditions on the ground after international summit of Annapolis.
