Fayyad, Rice Discuss U.S Aids and Peace Negotiations in Washington
WASHINGTON, February 10, 2008, (WAFA)- Prime minister Dr. Salam Fayyad meets Sunday the U.S Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice in Washington so as to tackle the situation in the Occupied Palestinian Territories (OPT) as well as accelerating the arrival of the financial aids of Paris Donors conference.
Fayyad is also scheduled to meet a number of the U.S officials and members of the Congress. He as well is holding a press release there organized by "U.S Work Team about Palestine".
Tom Casey, the State Department’s Deputy Spokesman, hailed Fayyad's visit saying "it would be a chance so as to discuss a number of issues related to situation in the OPT as well as the efforts exerted in order to push the peace process forward".
