Abu Al-Gheit: Egypt Will not Abandon its Supprtive Stance for Palestinian People
CAIRO, February 9, 2008 (WAFA)-Egypt voiced concern on Saturday over Israeli Authorities' decision to cut power supply to Gaza Strip.
In a statement, Foreign Minister, Ahmed Abu al-Gheit said that the illegal collective punishment perpetrated by Israel on Palestinians is completely rejected by Egypt as it increases the deterioration of human situation in the Gaza Strip.
Abu al-Gheit called on Israel to stop its measures which threaten the explosaon of human situation in the Gaza Strip.
He made it clear that Egypt will not abadon its supportive stance for the palestinian people, specially in their current sufferings, warning of the continued Israeli punitive measures and siege on the Gaza Strip.
