Bike Race in Ramallah to Protest against Israeli Violations of Human Rights
RAMALLAH, March 22, 2007, (WAFA)- The YMCA's "Youth to Youth Initiative", in the occupied East Jerusalem, launched a public invitation for attending International Bike Race, tomorrow, to protest against the Israeli violations of human rights of the Palestinian people.
"Youth to Youth Initiative" said in a press release, to WAFA, that the race is aimed at "promoting peace and tolerance among ethnic, religious and national groups in the region."
The idea stemmed from the increasing need to stop violating human rights and lift the movement restrictions and blocks which prevent the Palestinians to move freely," Youth to Youth Initiative said.
Several Palestinian and international participants from various countries worldwide would participate in the ceremony in Albereh.
