Abu Rdeineh: Quartet Statement Positive, But not Enough
RAMALLAH, March 21, 2007 (WAFA) - Presidency Spokesperson, Nabil Abu Rdeineh, said Wednesday that the Quartet statement, issued after discussing the Unity Government, is a good step forward, "but not enough."
He told WAFA that the statement of the Quartet, which endorsed the continuation of the Temporary International Mechanism (TIM) for a three-month period and supported Secretary Rice's efforts to define more clearly the political horizon, is a positive step forward, stressing that "this is not enough."
He urged for the quick implementation of the Road Map and the Arab Initiative for the ensuring peace and security in the region.
