Kuwaiti Parliament Speaker Congratulates Abbas on Cabinet Formation
KUWAIT, March 20, 2007 (WAFA) -- Speaker of the Kuwaiti National Assembly Jassem Al-Kharafi on Tuesday congratulated President Mahmoud Abbas and the Palestinian people on formation of a new government.
Al-Kharafi, in a cable he sent to Abbas, expressed hope that the formation of the new government would serve interests of the Palestinian people and the Arab nation.
He also hoped that Abbas would succeed in his mission, aimed at realizing national unity, and noted the great current need for bolstering confidence of the Palestinian people in their potentials.
