IOF Wounds 10 Citizens, Destroys 1 House in Hebron
HEBRON, March 20, 2007, (WAFA)- Ten citizens were wounded and one house demolished Tuesday morning by Israeli Occupation Forces (IOF) in the West Bank town of Halhoul, north of Hebron, local sources said.
Medic al sources, in Hebron, reported that three citizens were shot and moderately wounded with live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets.
Witnesses said that clashes erupted between citizens and Israeli soldiers when Israeli bulldozers destroyed the house of Ibrahim Hassouna.
They added that several people, including women, suffered suffocation as Israeli Soldiers shot gas canisters at citizens.
Four other houses are to be destroyed by IOF in the town, local sources said.
