Tamimi Calls for Pressurizing Israel Halt its Breaches against Islamic Shrines
HEBRON, March 1, 2006, (WAFA) -Islamic Chief Judge Sheikh Tayssir Tamimi called Wednesday on the international community to pressurize Israel halt its violations against the Islamic, Christian holy places.
In a statement faxed to WAFA, Tamimi applauded the decision of the Legal Court in the western Jerusalem to stop works on the "Forgiveness Museum", over the Islamic Ma'man Allah cemetery in Jerusalem.
Tamimi decried Israeli party Kadima act of turning part of al-Ahmar mosque, located in Safad City, into a constituency.
