DOHA, February 28, 2006 (WAFA)- Palestinian National Authority (PNA) denounced statements of Israeli Army Minister Shaul Mofaz that Jewish colonies in al-Aghwar of the Jordan Valley form borders between Jordan and Israel.

The Spokesperson of Presidency Nabil Abu Rdeineh stressed Tuesday that PNA firmly refuses Mofaz's statements, since it contradicts with the Road Map plan, and would not lead to peace, saying that it's part of Israeli electoral overstatements.

Abu Rdeineh added that al-Aghwar are occupied territories and their colonization is illegal and contradicts with international legitimacy.
