CHARLOTTE, April 6, 2004 (WAFA) - The US on Monday warned Israel"s Prime Minister Ariel Sharon against ordering an action that would threaten Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat.... White House spokesman Scott McClellan said that expelling Arafat from the Palestinian territories or any violence against Arafat would not ease the renewed Middle East crisis.... “Our views are very well known to Sharon,” McClellan told reporters.... Scott McClellan said that we have made it clear that sending Arafat into exile is not part of the solution to the situation in the Middle East.... "We've made our views very clear to Prime Minister Sharon and he is very well aware of what our view is,” McClellan said.
