58 Palestinians killed, 60 injured as Israeli forces target aid seekers in northern Gaza

GAZA, July 20, 2025 (WAFA) – The death toll from the deadly Israeli attack this morning on Palestinians waiting for humanitarian aid in the Al-Sudaniya area, northwest of Gaza City, has risen to 58, with at least 60 others wounded, according to medical reports on Sunday.

Eyewitnesses and WAFA correspondent confirmed that Israeli forces opened fire on civilians gathered to receive desperately needed aid for their starved families. The victims were unarmed and waiting in line when the gunfire erupted.

The bodies of many of those killed remain in the streets, as rescue efforts are hindered by ongoing Israeli fire and the risk of further attacks.

Medical sources reported on Saturday that the total number of Palestinians killed while attempting to access humanitarian aid has reached 891, with more than 5,754 injured since the beginning of the Israeli campaign against aid seekers.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 58,765 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 140,485 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
