RAMALLAH, April 2, 2004 (WAFA) – Palestinian leadership called, Friday, on Christians , Muslims and theQuartet to immediately move to protect al-Aqsa Mosque from these dangerous ambitions that the entire world realize.... In a statement issued hours after Israeli soldiers storming al-Aqsa, the leadership said that Israeli soldiers, together with Colonizers, stormed "al-Haram al-Sharifâ€, opened fire and lobbed tear gas at worshippers, leaving at least 25 wounded, of whom five are critical.... The statement affirmed that such an Israeli escalation, against worshippers in al-Aqsa, reveals Sharon’s government intention to continue its atrocious plans of grabbing hold of al-Aqsa Mosque in an attempt to destroy it and to be replaced of the so-called the "TEMPLE"....
