GAZA, August 5, 2025 (WAFA) – Several Palestinian civilians were killed and dozens wounded on Tuesday evening in Israeli shelling targeting various areas in the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources.
They reported that six people were killed and several others were injured, including critically, after Israeli shelling targeted aid workers in the northern Gaza Strip.
Separately, five more civilians were also killed and others were injured after Israeli airstrikes near the Andalusia Tower, northwest of Gaza City.
An airstrike on the Armida area of Bani Suhaila town, east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip, resulted in the killing of one Palestinian.
The Israeli military also demolished multiple buildings in the city of Rafah in southern Gaza and renewed artillery shelling on eastern areas of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza.
Medical sources announced that 31 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli gunfire since dawn today, including 14 aid seekers.
Since October 7, 2023, the Israeli occupation forces have launched an offensive on the Gaza Strip, resulting in the killing of 61,020 Palestinians, the majority of whom were children and women, with nearly 150,671 reported wounded.
Hundreds of victims remain trapped under rubble or in areas unreachable by emergency responders due to continued bombardment and limited resources.
