RAMALLAH, Thursday, June 18, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy to clear and mild in daytime mild to relatively cold in nighttime with a significant drop in temperature which becomes seasonal, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).
A slight chance of drizzle is expected on some districts, especially the northern. Light to moderate and sometime active, northeasterly to westerly wind blows. Sea waves are medium.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 16°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 26°C and a low of 15°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 35°C and a low of 22°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 27°C and a low of 20°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
Friday’s temperature is set to further drop and approach 2°C below the seasonal average, paving the way to partially cloudy and cooler conditions than usual, especially in the morning and night hours. Chance of drizzle is expected, especially in the northern districts.
PMD expects steady temperature on Saturday with partially cloudy and mild to relatively hot conditions in most districts in daytime and mild to relatively cold conditions in nighttime. Chance of scattered light rainfall is expected, especially in the north.
Partially cloudy to clear skies are expected for Sunday with a rise in temperature which becomes seasonal.
