GAZA, June 20, 2026 (WAFA) – A Palestinian woman identified as Taghreed Zomlot was killed on Saturday after being shot by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Beit Lahiya in the northern Gaza Strip.
Her death brings the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli military attacks in Gaza City and the northern Gaza Strip since dawn on Saturday to five, including two children and one woman.
Earlier in the day, medical sources reported that the overall death toll from the ongoing Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip had risen to 73,023 Palestinians killed and 173,316 injured since October 7, 2023.
The same sources said that since the start of the ceasefire announced on October 11 last year, a total of 1,012 Palestinians have been killed and 3,208 injured. They added that 784 bodies have also been recovered during the same period.
