RAMALLAH, June 20, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli colonists attacked the towns of Turmus Ayya and Sinjil, northeast of Ramallah, on Saturday evening, according to local and Palestinian security sources.

Awad Abu Samra, a member of the Turmus Ayya municipal council, told WAFA that armed Israeli colonists stormed the eastern side of the town and grazed their sheep on privately owned olive groves and between residential homes. He said the colonists attempted to provoke local residents, though no confrontations were reported.

Meanwhile, Palestinian security sources told WAFA that a group of armed Israeli colonists attacked the western area of Sinjil.

Local sources said residents confronted the attackers and forced them back. No injuries were reported.
