RAMALLAH, Wednesday, June 17, 2020 (WAFA) – Four new cases of coronavirus were discovered in the West Bank this evening which raise the total in one day to 39 cases, the highest single day cases since March, and the overall total in Palestine to 745, said Minister of Health Mai Alkaila.

Three of the new cases were recorded in the southern West Bank district of Hebron, bringing the total in this district today to 36, and one in Ramallah, bringing total in Ramallah to three today.

With the new cases, the number of coronavirus cases in Palestine, which includes East Jerusalem, the West Bank and the Gaza Strip, has reached 745, of whom 481 are in the West Bank, 72 in the Gaza Strip and 192 in East Jerusalem.

A total of 570 patients have recovered in Palestine, including 373 in the West Bank, where two patients have died, 42 in the Gaza Strip where one patient has died, and 155 in East Jerusalem where two have died of coronavirus.
