BETHLEHEM, Wednesday, June 17, 2020 (WAFA) – Israeli bulldozers Wednesday morning razed lands to the east of the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem, according to a local settlements monitoring group.
Head of the Anti-Wall and Settlement Committee Hasan Breijieh confirmed that Israeli forces escorted a bulldozer into the area of Sh‘ib al-Batta in al-Badiya ash-Sharqiya (Eastern Wilderness), adjacent to the Furedis village, where the heavy machinery razed a tract of land belonging to the Zawahra family for the purpose of settlement construction.
He noted that al-Badiya ash-Sharqiya has been targeted with several military orders preventing farmers from reaching their farmlands, estimated at hundreds of dunams, and seizing their land.
