RAMALLAH, Tuesday, June 16, 2020 (WAFA) – With the announcement this evening of five new cases in the West Bank, the overall total in Palestine has reached 695, according to Minister of Health Mai Alkaila.

She said in a statement that a woman in Ramallah has tested positive for the corona disease and the four others were in the southern West Bank district of Hebron for three men and a woman.

With the new cases, the number of active ones in Palestine, which includes East Jerusalem, the West Bank and Gaza Strip, is now 120, said Alkaila, after 570 cases have recovered and five deaths.

When broken down by area, the West Bank has 439 corona cases and two deaths, Gaza 72 cases and one death, and East Jerusalem 184 cases and two deaths.

The number of recoveries in the West Bank is 370, Gaza 45, and 155 in East Jerusalem.
