RAMALLAH, Tuesday, March 31, 2020 (WAFA) – The three Palestinian Arabic dailies highlighted on their front page today the confirmation of seven new cases of coronavirus in West Bank and one in Gaza yesterday as well as the government plan to guarantee food supply in the Palestinian market for the next six months.
Al-Quds and al-Ayyam made the coronavirus their main front-page story, while al-Hayat al-Jadida highlighted the government supply plan.
Al-Quds said a medical crew in Beit Jalal has ended two weeks of quarantine after being exposed to an infected person.
It also said that Palestinian doctors are benefitting from their Chinese counterparts in combating coronavirus.
Al-Ayyam said events related to Easter celebrations in the Holy Land, such as Palm Sunday procession in Jerusalem, have been either canceled or postponed.
Al-Hayat al-Jadida said there is a campaign in the US Congress to resume medical aid to the Palestinians.
It said that coronavirus is hurting agriculture in the Jordan Valley.
It said that Land Day was celebrated by raising the Palestinian flag on balconies.
