JERUSALEM, April 2, 2026 (WAFA) – A young Palestinian man was injured on Thursday evening by Israeli occupation forces during a raid in the town of Beit Anan, northwest of Jerusalem.
The Jerusalem Governorate reported that Israeli forces stormed Beit Anan and fired live ammunition, wounding the young man in the hand. His injuries were described as minor.
In related incidents, the governorate said Israeli forces also raided the Al-Salam neighborhood and the town of Anata, east of occupied Jerusalem. The incursions included searches of commercial establishments and other facilities.
In Al-Salam, shop owners received tax violation notices, while in Anata, a fuel station was raided by Israeli soldiers amid intensive use of stun grenades and tear gas, with no injuries reported.
