BEIRUT, April 2, 2026 (WAFA) – Ten Lebanese, including a mother and her two children, were killed and dozens more injured on Thursday amid continued Israeli attacks on Lebanon, bringing the total death toll since March 2 to 1,345 and the number of wounded to 4,040.
According to the National News Agency, Israeli forces carried out air and heavy artillery strikes on 40 towns and areas across southern Lebanon, resulting in 10 fatalities in the past 24 hours, raising the daily death toll in the past 24 hours to 27.
Four civilians were killed and three others injured in an airstrike on the town of Ramadiyeh, while three more were killed in an attack on the town of Kafr Sir.
In Zabdine, a member of the town’s council, Bilal Jawad, his brother Mahdi, and their mother Hala Qubaisi were killed when their home was struck by Israeli forces.
An Israeli strike also destroyed a commercial complex in the town of Kfarah, injuring six people, three of them critically.
