RAMALLAH, Saturday, February 29, 2020 (WAFA) – The Ministry of Health (MoH) said today in its daily update on the global coronavirus epidemic that the Palestinian territories remain until now clear of the disease despite testing 129 suspected cases since January 20, which all came out negative.
It said that five people are currently kept in isolation at a special quarantine base in Jericho where arrivals from highly infected countries are kept for 14 days, while 50 others who arrived from certain less infected countries are ordered to isolate themselves in special rooms in their homes for 14 days.
Eight cases of coronavirus were confirmed in bordering Israel, which occupies the Palestinian territories.
