RAMALLAH, Friday, February 28, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is mostly clear and pleasant in daytime and relatively cold in nighttime with a slight rise in temperature, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD).

Light to moderate southwesterly to northwesterly wind prevails. Sea waves are low to medium.

Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 10°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 17°C and a low of 9°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 26°C and a low of 14°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 23°C and a low of 14°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.

Saturday’s temperature is expected to plummet, paving the way to mostly cloudy and cold conditions in daytime and very cold conditions in nighttime. Scattered rain showers are expected on most districts with occasional gusts.

No significant change is expected in the weather on Sunday.

Monday’s temperature is set to rise, paving the way to mostly clear and slightly cold conditions in daytime and cold conditions in nighttime.

PMD warns people against low horizontal visibility, slippery roads, and gusty wind on Saturday and Sunday.
