RAMALLAH, Tuesday, February 25, 2020 (WAFA) – Weather today is partially cloudy to cloudy and cold with scattered rain along with thunderstorms and occasional hail on some areas, particularly in the south of the country, said the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD), which warned people of floods in low areas, low horizontal visibility, slippery roads and strong wind.
Winds are northwesterly, moderate to active with occasional strong gusts and sea waves are medium to high.
Temperature in Jerusalem and Bethlehem is expected to reach a high of 13°C and a low of 8°C and in Ramallah and Hebron, a high of 12°C and a low of 7°C. In Jericho, the Dead Sea and the Jordan Valley, temperature is expected to reach a high of 22°C and a low of 12°C, while it is expected to reach a high of 18°C and a low of 12°C in Gaza and the coastal areas.
A slight rise in temperature is expected for Wednesday with partly cloudy skies and a little chance of scattered rain on some areas.
Temperature is expected to significantly rise on Thursday and Friday, said the PMD, with moderate conditions prevailing.
